The intention of The Open Heart Café is to provide a transportable gathering space that serves as a model of urban permaculture and creates the connection of community. We know the power of food as medicine and support local, sustainable farming. Fueled by the vision of using food as the vehicle to connect ourselves and the planet, we serve with open hearts.
At the Emerge-N-See festival, we will be serving all vegan and some raw foods. We will be using all compostable dishware but encourage you to bring your own ware –because the less we use the better!. Love, love, love…see you there!

Tonya King works with natural elements in all her designs, producing a body of work that connects one to nature and an infinite beauty. She calls herself a Medicine Artist, for the intention and energy that is carried within all of her pieces. Using a variety of feathers, she creates head dresses, collars, cuffs and bangs that blend in to one’s own hair. Leather wrist wallets and unique sculpted leather cuffs and head dresses each have their own character, jewelry that uses a combination of vintage pieces or new silver with antique crystals, Swarosky crystals, and bones from different animals, and hats that are embellished with tribal flair. Divine Bodywork

Divine Bodywork (by Ashley Haberman LMT #13881) is my growing business of massage and healing that I am working toward building in this community. Getting regular massage is so important in helping reduce stress and tension. Massage also promotes relaxation and helps to clear and realign blocked chakras. Deep tissue and shiatsu are my specialties that I think work very well together. Shiatsu works with the energy meridians of the body in helping to disperse stuck energy that causes pain and stiffness. Using deep tissue along with this helps to release the muscles as a whole with energy and muscle release. Bodywork is something that helps get your body flowing by encouraging blood and lymph circulation which supports detoxification. Massage therapy along with good diet and regular exercise is the key to a healthy life.

Bad Unkl Sista, aka Anastazia Louise, has been blowing up all over San Francisco this past year with her innovative, sustainable, and decidedly "from another planet" couture. She embraces mistakes as an essential ingredient in authentic self expression, and is committed to making each piece, by hand, with love. Anastazia Louise of "Bad Unkl Sista" designs is a firm believer and practitioner of mistake-media art…her work is a careful and calculated series of beautiful "mistakes" that in combination and collaboration with each other create an authentic expression of wearable art. Anastazia's clothing line is an eclectic combination of experimental redefinition of existing clothing and purposeful wanderings through the creative landscapes of odd shaped fabrics. Although each piece can stand on its own, there is an aesthetic vision of clothing combining woven (if you will) into the "master plan" of her work. Anastazia is particularly drawn to design clothing that can be worn in many different configurations, are comfortable, flattering for many body types and askew from the ordinary. All of her work is hand-made and one of a kind. Anastazia is a San Francisco local and is available for personal wardrobe redesign as well as original special orders.

Raven Creations

Raven is a representative of creative force opening the limitless possibilities of imagination with her dynamic channel. Starting this path with a fine gift for stitches and unique design, she began opening a realm to merge her skills with many talents of her tribe. Using the mapping of the Tree of Life as one of her modes of transport, she fuse clothing and costume design (WE-ar'able Art) with music, dance, visual art and ritual theatre to co-produce multi-media events that weave cultural myth of past, present and future. Her most recent works include a one of a kind line of clothing named, 'Bitchin' Pixen' created in Bali 2006, and 'Chillin with Slow'- 2007 Raven's latest line, which will be offered, this year, at Emerg-N-See, Sonic Bloom, and Shambahala. "Chillin' with Slow', will also be available in retail stores in Nelson, Vancouver and San Fransisco.
